Who Are the Elliot Hospital Associates?
The Associates are a group of dependable men and women who give their time, interest, loyalty, and financial resources, for the betterment of Elliot Hospital.
Founded in 1890 and incorporated in 1894, the Associates of Elliot Hospital have provided more than a century of caring and support for patients, families, staff, and the medical community.
Through the generosity of Mrs. William Varick (chairman of the "Indigent Sick Fund" for many years) a fund was provided for acutely ill patients who have the benefit of excellent medical and clinical care. Since 1956 though 1990, over $850,000 has been paid to the hospital through this fund.
Who can be an
Elliot Hospital Associate?
Anyone can join our group! We invite Elliot Health System employees, volunteers, physicians, allied health professionals, as well as the general public to join our organization. You can be any age to join!
What type of time commitment
is involved in becoming an Associate?
To be an active member of the organization, the minimum time commitment is just 50 hours a year.
