About Costs
The information provided at registration will assist in the billing process. If the patient has health insurance, we will make every effort to bill their plan. Patients should be sure to provide as much information as possible.
If insurance is through a private insurance company, patients should be familiar with the requirements of the plan. If they are uncertain of the direct notification requirements of their insurance company, we recommend that either the patient or a family member contact the insurance company within 24 hours of any emergency visit. Although admission representatives are available to assist in obtaining approval, it is the responsibility of the patient to coordinate and complete this process.
A Free Care Program Policy is available. For additional information, call (603) 663-2571. If there are any questions concerning hospital billing, please call the Billing Department at (603) 663-2524 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
