    AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator)

    First Friday of each month

    Elliot offers the only AICD support group in the tri-state area. Designed to help patients with internal cardioverter defibrillators and their families deal with unique issues.

    Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Support Group
    This free OCD 12 Step Support Group meets every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 p.m. (except major holidays, floods and snowstorms) at Elliot Behavioral Health Services, 445 Cypress St. Suite 8, Manchester. The group is NOT therapy, it is however, a self-help adjunct to therapy. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age, or if under 18, be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Participants must either believe they have OCD or have been professionally diagnosed with OCD. ( "Observers" are not permitted to attend.)     Postpartum Emotional Support Group

    This support group is intended to help support women experiencing mood, anxiety, and thought disorders during pregnancy and the first year after the birth of their baby.  We will disucss issues and coping strategies related to the adjustment period and challenges of new motherhood.

    The Postpartum Emotional Support Group meets weekly on Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m. to Noon in the Elliot Childcare Center Activity Room, located at 450 Massabesic St., Manchester.

    The group meets Tuesdays 10:30 a.m. to noon in the activity room of the Elliot Childcare Center, located on the Elliot Hospital campus at 450 Massabesic St., Manchester, NH. Parking is available in the circular driveway in front of the daycare center or in the parking lot. Babies are welcome and sessions are free.

    The Elliot Center for Weight and Health

    Elliot's Choosing the Right Weigh program offers free introductory sessions on Sept. 11, Sept. 14, Sept. 18 and Sept. 21.

    Elliot's Choosing the Right Weigh is a 16 week weight management program which focuses on your total health, not just on pounds on the scale.

    FirstLine Therapy at the Elliot Wellness Center

    Are you looking for a way to bring down your blood sugar, your blood pressure or your cholesterol that doesn't involve prescription drugs? And perhaps lose some weight in the process?

    Would you like to have more energy, sleep better, and think more clearly? Maybe you have a craving for sweets that's hard to overcome.

    Then you may want to join the FirstLine Therapy program at the Elliot Wellness Center. New participants may join the program the 1st Wednesday of each month.

    The 12-week program is held Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. No classes will be held during holiday weeks. As always, qualified health-care professionals teach our programs with your best interest in mind.

    Mom's Group

    Offered to mothers and their babies as an opportunity to share and network. Weekly topics will include feeding, crying, sleep, caring for yourself, growth and development of your baby, dealing with relationships, managing and preventing illness, family nutrition, and finidng a balance in life. Groups are led by a Child Life Specialist/Nurse and we have monthly guest speakers.

    Wednesdays, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
    New Baby and Me
    (newborns to 4 months)

    Wednesdays, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
    Little Ones
    (4 - 8 months)

    Wednesday, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
    Movers and Shakers
    (8 months to 1 year)

    There is no fee and no registration is required for this group. The Mom's Group meets at 33 So. Commercial St, Manchester, NH and we are located on the fourth floor.
