    A.I.C.D. Support Group

     

    What is an A.I.C.D. ?

    The implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) is a lifesaving device for treating patients at risk for sudden cardiac death from ventricular arrhythmias. The ICD has increased patient survival rates to 96%.

    Who is eligible?

    A.I.C.D. support group is design for patients with an Internal cardioverter-defibrillator and their families deal with issues unique to them.

    When do they meet?

    The AICD support group meets the first Friday of every month from 11am to noon On the ground floor in conference room B at the Elliot hospital.  Click here for upcoming topics and flyers.
