Weekend After Hours Clinic

Elliot Physician Network primary care providers recently opened a “Weekend After-Hours Clinic” on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Briarwood Primary Care (located near Elliot Hospital at 445 Cypress Street, Suite 5 in Manchester), allowing their patients the flexibility of being seen for acute matters over the weekend. A rotating schedule of on-call EPN providers will determine which doctor a patient sees at the clinic. If necessary, the physician on-call will follow up with the patient’s primary care provider. Patients access the clinic by calling their physician’s office. The Nurse or the on-call provider will discuss the patient’s symptoms and make a referral to the After-Hours Clinic.

FAQs

Are you accepting new patients?

Dr. Mark R. Ferlan is accepting new patients.

What Insurance do you accept?

Our practice, as well as all other Elliot Physician Network locations, participates with most insurance companies.  We can provide you with a list of participating insurance entities at the time of your visit. You may also click here for a complete listing of the insurances accepted at Elliot Physician Network offices.

Can I call the office to get a prescription refilled?

Yes, A Patient Service Representative will be available to take your request. We will need to have the information below.

  • Your Name
  • Medication and strength
  • Quantity
  • Name of Pharmacy
  • If you would like this prescription called in to your pharmacy or if you’d like it mailed to you.

The nurse will then verify information and forward your request electronically to your provider. This process usually requires one business day from the time of your initial call until the time the physician can review the information and forward the prescription electronically to your pharmacy. How quickly your pharmacy fills the prescription depends on their refill policy and staffing.  If you need a mail away prescription, please make sure that you contact us 2 weeks prior to running out to allow time for the request to be entered and your prescription returned. Please let me know should you have questions.

What is your billing process?

The office enters all of your demographic and current insurance information into the EPICARE System and verifies its accuracy at each visit. The Elliot Physician Network Business Office in Manchester then bills all of your services according to this information. If you have a concern about a statement you have received, the billing office can be reached at 663-4900. They receive calls from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and can assist you with any billing issue.

How long does it take to obtain my test results?

You should receive a letter or phone call within two weeks of having your test. This will give the physician time to receive and review the test result.
