at Londonderry is a complete diagnostic imaging service featuring
today’s most advanced technology and highest quality
images. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring your comfort through the
entire imaging process. All images are stored electronically through
Elliot’s advanced digital archiving technology called PACS,
which allows for immediate review by board certified Radiologists
at Elliot Hospital. In most cases, reports are provided to physicians
within 24 hours.
MRI
Our MRI Suite offers a new dimension in medical imaging with a large open
bore scanner. Unlike typical MRI machines, the larger
opening provides a comfortable, spacious environment suitable for
patients of all sizes and perfect for those who might be nervous
about tight spaces. The advanced technology allows us to scan
the brain, neck, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities and blood
vessels to create thin, highly-detailed, cross section images
of the body to diagnose disease.

CT Scan
Board certified CT Scan technologists conduct multi-slice scans of the brain, sinus, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis and more.

Mammogram
Digital mammography provides the greatest benefit to women with dense breasts as it allows for better imaging. However, all women benefit from the higher quality images. It also reduces procedure time, radiation exposure and the call-back rate. Traditional screening mammogram technology requires the films to be processed following the procedure, however, with digital mammography, the images are instantly viewed.
All images are stored within the Elliot PACS system, a new computer system that stores X-rays and other diagnostic imaging tests for easy review by physicians. Digital enhancements to the images can assist physicians in reviewing mammograms and with diagnosis.
