| Volunteer Registration | |
| If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the race, please review the below descriptions and call the number at the bottom of this page to register, or send us an email at cmccan@elliot-hs.org. | |
| Starting Area 12-16 volunteers will form the human starting line ahead of the elite runners. 10-12 volunteers needed to monitor the wave start groups. |
|
| Traffic Volunteers 40 volunteers need for traffic control. Each volunteer will be assigned an intersection to ensure that no traffic enters while the race is process. |
| Merrimack St. Finish Area Volunteers are required here to guide the runners into the corral to receive their finisher’s award. Finisher awards will be given by volunteers at the exit of the corral. First-aid advance scouts will assist runners in need to medical personnel. Emergency water station volunteers will offer water to those in dire need. |

| Veteran's Park Water Station 8-10 volunteers will set-up and distribute 7000 cups of water to race participants for consumption before and after the race, then moving trash into the park container. |
|
| Post-Race Refreshments Dozens of volunteers are needed in this area to organize and distribute fruit, liquids and ice cream to race participants after the race. These volunteers will see that their areas are completely broken down and clean afterwards. |

| Floating Volunteers Some volunteers will be unassigned to a specific task once they have checked in at the Volunteer Registration Desk. They will fill gaps where needed in one or more of the above volunteer positions in the event of no-shows. |
